Bestial Assassin

This build uses hexes to start the attack combination instead of relying on a certain attack. It also uses the assassins heavy damaging attack skills to lower the target's health very fast in order to use the instant attack recharge ability of Moebius Strike.

I mainly use this for PvP in alliance battles, and Fort Aspenwood but it can be adapted to pretty much any situation if you try hard enough.

These are the skills, attributes, and equipment I use. Nothing is really required for it but what I use maximizes the amount of damage I can do.his build uses hexes to start the attack combination instead of relying on a certain attack. It also uses
Critical Strikes: 13 (10+3)
Dagger Mastery: 13 (11+2)
Shadow Arts: 11 (10+1)

Use +energy armor and zealous daggers

Aura of Displacement [Elite] (Assassin None)
When you cast Aura of Displacement, Shadow Step to target foe. When you stop maintaining Aura of Displacement, you return to your original location.
Energy:10 Cast:0.25 Recharge:15

Unsuspecting Strike (Critical Strikes)
If this attack hits, you strike for +30 damage. If your target was above 90% Health you deal an additional 36 damage.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:4

Leaping Mantis Sting (Dagger Mastery)
If Mantis Sting hits, target foe takes +19 damage. If this attack strikes a moving foe, that foe is Crippled for 13 seconds.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:8

Jungle Strike (Dagger Mastery)
Must follow a lead attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +18 damage. If it hits a foe that was Crippled, it does +27 damage.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:10

Twisting Fangs (Dagger Mastery)
Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, Twisting Fangs strikes for +9 damage and struck foe suffers from Bleeding and Deep Wound for 18 seconds.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:15

Golden Phoenix Strike (Dagger Mastery)
If you are not under the effects of an Enchantment, this skill misses. If it hits, Golden Phoenix Strike deals +27 damage.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:8

Blades of Steel (Dagger Mastery)
Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +13 damage (maximum bonus 50) for each recharging dagger attack.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:20

Shadow Refuge (Shadow Arts)
For 4 seconds, you have +9 health regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you are healed for X.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:8

Resurrection Signet ()
Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. You may use this Signet only once per mission.
Energy:0 Cast:3 Recharge:0

Now let's go over how to use this build.

Because two skills are optional I'm only going to explain how I use this build in PvP.
First off cast Expose Defenses. Second move in and cast Siphon Speed followed right after with Bestial Fury and the attack combination.
1)Black Spider Strike
2)Horns of the Ox
3)Black Lotus Strike
4)Blades of Steel
5)Moebius Strike

After all that (and I'll admit you will probably be short on energy) there are four possible outcomes.

1.Your target is dead.
2.Your target has died too early breaking the attack chain.
3.Your target is still alive but low on health.
4.Your target somehow managed to negate a lot of damage due a monk or some type of healing spell and is above 50% health.

For each one there is a different response.

1.Good job on an attack chain well performed, move on to another target.
2.Move to another target as all of your skills will be recharged within the next 10-12 seconds unless you were hit with diversion or interrupted by distracting shot.
3.Restart the attack chain, or swap between Horns of the Ox and Moebius Strike until dead.
4.Either target the healer, or restart the chain.

This attack combination causes a lot of damage in a generally short period of time. However there a few counters which can become a problem. One is a spammable hex removal skill as this can stop your attacks if you aren't next to your target. (Fortunately none of the skills have an unbearably long recharge time so you can be back in and attacking soon. If you are not using Expose Defenses stances can be annoying since your attacks have to hit for them to be effective. Finally there's blind. As a single person you can bring Antidote Signet. As a team a monk can usually take care of it with Mend Ailment or Mend Condition.

Please don't be too brutal with the comments especially a ton of technical stuff about energy problems. I use this frequently and energy isn’t too bad unless you’re using recall or something similar. Good luck in battle and hope you liked my guide.

Final Notes:I will admit that energy can be problem but no build can kill everything no matter what some people believe. I would like to point out that Bestial Fury is not something which needs to be used all the time. I used to use this exact build only with a healing skill where Burst of Aggression (and now Bestial Fury) are and it worked wonders. Finally I would like to say that Assassins can die quite fast but that isn't a big deal and you should adapt to different Death Penalty percentages as well as just dieing in general. It happens and it's not worth getting angry over.
