Here is the modified version with more DPS and Healing that Gamesavor have concluded:
The whole idea behind this build is to give damage with taking little to no damage at all. This build has helped me in PVE, RA, and farming.
== Attributes and Skills ==
*Ranger/Dervish*
*Attributes* | Expertise | 12 + 1 + 3 | Scythe Mastery | 9 | Earth Prayers| 9
1) Escape = Elite Stance. For 5...15 seconds, you move 25% faster and have a 75% chance to "block" attacks.
2) Lightning Reflexes = Stance. For 5...10 seconds, you have a 75% chance to "block" melee and projectile attacks, and you attack 33% faster.
3) Whirling Defense = Stance. For 8...18 seconds, you have 75% chance to "block" attacks. Whenever you block a projectile in this way, adjacent foes take 5...10 damage.
4) Vital Boon = Enchantment Spell. For 20 seconds, you have +40...88 maximum Health. When this Enchantment ends, you are healed for 75...175 Health.
5) Resurrection Signet = Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This signet only recharges when you gain a Morale Boost.
6) Irresistible Sweep = Melee Attack. You lose 1 Enchantment. If you lose an Enchantment in this way, Irresistible Sweep cannot be blocked. This attack deals +10...26 damage if it hits.
7) Victorious Sweep = Melee Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +1...25 damage. If the target foe has less Health than you, you gain 30...70 Health.
8) Chilling Victory = Scythe Attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +5...17 damage. Whenever it hits a foe who has less Health than you, target foe and all adjacent foes are struck for 15...51 cold damage
* Remember, when solo farming or in Fort Aspen Wood switch Resurrection Signet with Antidote Signet.
== Equipment ==
*Armor: Use a helm with plus one to expertise, gloves and boots should be the ones to give extra defense while in a stance, and torso and legs should be berserker (to get more hp).
* Weapons: Use Max green/golden scythe. If you can't afford a green scythe, try to use a max scythe. The mods should be: sundering 20/20, +30hp, and the "I Have the Power" inscription.
== Usage == First, when you see a group of enemies and are ready to attack, click Escape. When you approach the targeted foe, use Irresistible Sweep, Victorious Sweep, and Chilling Victory. When Escape wears off, use Whirling Defense. When that wears off, use Escape again. When Escape wears off use Lightning Reflexes. Then, since Whirling Defense won't be ready yet, use Escape again (there is only one second between Lightning Reflexes and the second Escape). By the time Escape is gone use Whirling Defense. If you do the stances correctly, you will have a 75% to block or evade incoming attacks, all the time. Now, when you do take damage use Vital Boon combined with Irresistible Sweep will give you a 150hp heal almost immediately. Just so you know, try to keep 5 mana always for your healing. Also, Victorious Sweep may heal you. If you take too much damage and can't heal correctly, use Escape to run to safety.
== Counters == *Attacks like Wild strike can take you out of stances, if they hit. *The stances don't block or evade magical attacks, so kill Elementalists, Monks, and Mesmers first. Moves such as some warrior and assassin skills can't be blocked or evaded. *As someone stated in my other guide Rigor Mortis will destroy the evasion and blocking of your stances.
== Variants == T*he stances do block or evade 75% of incoming attacks, but if you have too many enemies by you the 25% of incoming attacks that hit you, may kill you, but due to the 150 heal of vital boon 25% of incoming attacks shouldn’t be a problem. Just be careful of spells.
== Farming == *When you farm outside of Port Sledge, just try to kill grawl and bosses are very hard to kill. *For a more profitable farming area you can do, is trolls outside of DF. It's pretty much straight forward. The only thing you need to be careful of is you can kill all the trolls in the cave at once, but you must group them up. Grouping them up will allow VS to do most of the healing you will need.
== Notes == *The best tested arena to dual in is RA (Random).
